Introduction of Ana's team

Hello, my name is Ana Liber and I’m a teacher of Arts and crafts at Scoala Gimnaziala “Vasile Alecsandri” Baia Mare, Romania. Within the “Arts and crafts treasure hunt” eTwinning project, I will be working with a group of students from grades V and VI within the “Wise hands” arts and crafts club at school. We will learn how to use various techniques of sewing, from simple to complex, to make bookmarks, handbags or even ethno shirts. We will also learn the art of “macramé” – the techniques used to make knots on threads, so that my students can learn how to make crafty “friendship bracelets”, which they can offer as gifts to whomever they wish. At the end of the school year we want to organize an exhibition with our students’ arts and crafts products.

Sunt profesoara Liber Ana de la Scoala Gimnaziala ,,Vasile Alecsandri” Baia Mare, predau educatia tehnologica. 
In cadrul proiectului eTwinning “Arts and crafts treasure hunt” ,voi indruma si coordona un grup de elevi din clasele V-VI in cadrul cercului scolar ,,Maini dibace”. Vom invata sa coasem diferite tehnici, de la simplu la complex, pentru a confectiona semne de carte, posete sau chiar camasi in stil etno. De asemenea, vom invata arta macrameului - tehnica innodarii firelor -pentru ca ei sa realizeze bratari artizanale, numite sugestiv “bratarile prieteniei”, pe care sa le daruiasca celor pe care-i apreciaza. Ne propunem ca la sfarsitul anului scolar sa realizam si o expozitie cu obiectele confectionate de elevi.
Va tinem la curent cu progresul nostru.

Hello from Ukraine! Our team is of pupils 11 years old. We are going to introduce you traditional Ukrainian embroidery. Here is our first Art Hunt for the embroidery we can meet at school at home. It's not a surprise to tell that one of the favourite use for this kind of decoration is for holiday towels. And on the collages you can see the results and some of the participants. Enjoy!

Hello. My name is Raluca Salajan and I am a Maths teacher at Scoala Gimnaziala "Vasile Alecsandri" Baia Mare, Romania. Within this project, I will work with my team of students from the 8th grade B: Dan Ionela, Michis Madalina, Muresan Denisa and Maries Nadira. We have chosen to research about making plush toys using fabrics from old clothes. We want to donate the toys we make to poor children so they can have nice toys to play with and bring them some joy.

Introduction of Daniela's team

My name is Daniela Buda and I am a teacher of English as a foreign language at Scoala Gimnaziala “Vasile Alecsandri” Baia Mare, Romania. My hobbies are teaching English, photography and beadwork. My students love the beaded jewelry I make and wear, so they have asked me to teach them to make such jewelry. This is how our present project started. So, this school year I will be working with 10 of my 6th grade students. We will research about bead jewelry and embroidery in Maramures and other parts of the world and do a workshop in which we will learn how to make beads jewelry. We want to sell some of the jewelry we make and donate the money to the Autistic Association from Baia Mare. We will share our results with you. We hope you will like our work. Ma numesc Daniela Buda si sunt profesoara de engleza la at Scoala Gimnaziala “Vasile Alecsandri” Baia Mare. Hobiurile mele sunt predarea limbii engleze, fotografia si realizarea de bijuterii si broderie cu margele. Elevilor mei le plac margelele pe care le fac si le port, asa ca m-au rugat sa ii invat si pe ei aceasta arta. Asa s-a nascut proiectul nostru.  In acest an scolar voi lucre cu 10 elevi din clasa a 6-a A. Vom cerceta istoria bijuteriilor si broderiilor cu margele in Maramures si alte parti ale lumii si vom organiza un atelier de creatie de bijuterii din margele, unde vom invata cum sa le realizam. Vom vinde o parte din bijuteriile ce le vom face si vom dona banii Asociatiei Autistilor din Baia Mare. Vom impartasi rezultatele cercetarii noastre cu voi. Speram ca veti aprecia munca noastra. Succes tuturor partenerilor in realizarea cercetarii ce si-o propun.
