Inspirations - part II
As you probably know, Spain is a very interesting and beautiful country. Its culture is so rich! The art and architecture styles are really inspiring. Some buildings, sculptures and pictures can take your breath away. That's why we decided to learn more about techniques and materials used by Spanish artists. In the pictures you can see our workshop about Spanish art. Next week we'll prepare our crafts inspired by the findings. We can't wait! But in the meantime, take a look at the photos taken during the classes.
Inspirations
This week we were looking for some inspirations around the world. And we found them in Spain. So now we want to share our findings about the country, its culture, traditions, art and architecture. We are going to show you two presentatios prepared by students from Kokoszkowy. Although the language used is Polish, we hope you'll be able to understand a lot. Enjoy!

Autumn art in Kokoszkowy
As you probably could have noticed, autumn started some time
ago and we all can feel the specific atmosphere of nostalgia in the air. The
evenings are becoming longer, the weather does not let us playing outside. It
would be so simple –just sit down, take a good book, dive into its interesting
plot and forget about the world…
Luckily, some people are not like bears and they don’t want
to fall asleep. Moreover, they motivate others to different activities. That’s
why children and their parents met two weeks ago on autumn workshops which took
place in our school in Kokoszkowy.
The workshops started in the afternoon, at about five
o’clock. Although we didn’t have traditional English tea – we still had a great
fun together. Children aged 8 – 10 years old and their parents could prepare some
autumn decorations, like flowers made from leaves, paper kites, glass
candleholders, etc. More difficult elements were done by parents or teachers, but
generalny pupils were the most important and creative artists. Their Works were
really interesting – they used different techniques and improved their own
original ideas. But still they were children – so the atmosphere of joy and
happiness accompanied us for the whole event.
What’s more – even some parents manage to relax and felt as if they had
been children. That was a great plasure for me to watch them working so
concentrated on drawing on painting autumn leaves…Just look at the pictures!
Great work, isn’t it?!:)
So - relax, make a big cup of tea and start working on your own autumn decorations! Good luck! And share your ideas and comments:) Kisses:* Kinga
Presentation of Kinga's team
Hello!:)
I’m an English teacher at Primary School in Kokoszkowy,
Poland. I’m not good art and craft but I really like watching children and
their parents working on a project that is made not for school or work case –
but just for some fun and relax. That’s why I decided to organize some relaxing
arts and crafts workshops. With my
pupils, their parents and relatives we are going to hunt different arts
techniques to prepare autumn, winter, spring and summer decorations, according
to our schedule. All our works will be presented and commented here. We hope
you will like them! All the best! Kinga Palkowska
